Daróg Wins ‘Wine Experience Award’ at the Georgina Campbell Awards 2025

Yesterday, 30th September, the winners of the Georgina Campbell Irish Food & Hospitality Awards 2025 were announced in Dublin, and Daróg was named Wine Experience of the Year.
In their write-up, the judges spoke about the warmth of the space, the atmosphere, and the sense of care that runs through what we do. They highlighted our focus on local producers, sustainability, and working with small winemakers. They also noticed the smaller touches – the blackboard of wines that changes with the evening, and the time spent sharing the story behind each dish or glass. One line stood out to us: “Wine lovers heaven indeed.”
The Awards also spoke about the difficulties many in the food and hospitality world are facing, and how resilience and creativity continue to shine through. That makes this recognition all the more meaningful.
Daróg has always been about connection – with our producers, our neighbourhood, and with everyone who comes in to share food and wine with us. To be recognised in this way, alongside so many inspiring businesses across Ireland, is something we’re truly grateful for.
