Cabernet Franc Day
Today is Cabernet Franc Day — marked each year on 4 December, the anniversary of Cardinal Richelieu’s (think The Three Musketeers) death. He’s credited with bringing Cabernet Franc cuttings from southwest France to the Loire Valley, where the grape found a second home.
Here are two beautiful examples of this grape available by the glass. A young, juicy Chinon and a more structured, refined Bordeaux with some Merlot in the blend.
Our wine list is always evolving — shaped by curiosity, sustainability, and the winemakers we believe in.
Curated by Zsolt, named Best Sommelier in the UK & Ireland by MICHELIN 2025, the list highlights small artisan producers who work organically, biodynamically, and with real connection to their land. You’ll find modern, quirky bottles alongside the classics, each with its own story and sense of place.
We pour 30+ wines by the glass, with 4–5 rotating blackboard picks that change each week. Always something new to explore.
