Daróg Wine Bar in Galway City wins ‘Best Wine Experience in Connaught’ at the Food and Wine Awards 2023.

Wine Event: Join us in Daróg Wine Bar for an evening of wine tasting and a discussion led by three Irish-based winemakers: Liam & Sinead Cabot of Cabot & Co, Simon Tyrrell of Tyrrell Wines, and Rafa Salazar of Vinostito.

On October 9, Star Wine List celebrated the best wine lists on Ireland and the teams behind them for the first time. The Sustainable Wine List category was presented by Familia Torres, and here two venues shared the victory: Daróg Wine Bar and The Pear Tree Café & Wine Bar, both in Galway.

Introducing the newest exhibition to our Gallery Wall at Daróg Wine Bar in Galway City, ‘The Art of Food & Wine by Edel McMahon. Artwork will be on display for 6 weeks and is available to purchase in the wine bar.

We are excited to introduce our #GalleryWall in Daróg Wine bar in Galway city, featuring artwork by local artists. With a background in art and design, Edel's vision was to create a space where local artists could shine. Our Gallery Wall is all about embracing the vibrant talents of our community and giving them a platform to showcase their incredible work.

Artwork on display will rotate every 5 – 6 weeks and is available to purchase in the wine bar.
